Welcome to an exciting exploration of Hari Japanese Meridian Therapy. Guided by the teachings of T. Koei Kuwahara Sensei, this workshop incorporates Five Phase theory, non-insertive needling, pulse, meridian, and abdominal palpation and diagnosis for effective treatment feedback and determination of needling success.
1. Non-insertion Treatment with Teishin Tool: Dive into the art of non-insertion treatment using the Teishin tool for precise and gentle acupuncture.
- 2. Non-insertion Needling for Supplementing and Dispersing: Master the techniques of non-insertion needling for both tonification and dispersion of Ki in the meridians.
- 3. Japanese Pulse Diagnosis: Explore Japanese 6 Comparative and 8 Basic pulse diagnosis methods, gaining valuable insights into your treatment effect through pulse feedback.
- 4. Abdominal Palpation and Diagnosis: Learn the intricacies of Japanese abdominal palpation for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- 5. Ki Sensing and Regulation: Understand the essence of Ki, honing your skills in sensing and regulating energy flow.
About the instructors
Cameron Bishop DAOM, L.Ac lived and worked in Japan for four years studying the healing and martial arts. He has been in practice for almost 30 years in Florida. He has been a popular teacher in many acupuncture venues including FSOMA, PCHS, ATOM and Japanese acupuncture courses. He has taught many Japanese Acupuncture classes and served as a table translator for national conferences in the USA, Japan and Europe along with studying various styles of Japanese Acupuncture. Cameron also designed several popular courses including Intergrative Pain Management, Intergrative Case Management, Overcoming Patient Plateaus, Laser Therapy, Moxibustion for the clinic, Japanese Acupuncture for fertility, and Japanese Meridian therapy. His Masters is from NIAOM and his DAOM from ACTCM with a speciality in pain management and women's health.
Gretchen Lorenson AP has trained extensively with T. Koei Kuwahara Sensei in his unique system, Hari Traditional Japanese Meridian Therapy. Gretchen practices Hari Style Acupuncture full time in Jacksonville, FL since moving there in 2017 from New Mexico where she co-founded the High Desert Hari Society bringing teachers of Japanese styles of Acupuncture, Bodywork and Kampo herbal medicine from around the U.S. and Japan. She has studied in Vietnam and in Japan multiple times and has been a dedicated teaching apprentice with Kuwahara Sensei for more than a decade.
